Arkansas CNA Exam Details

In Arkansas, a candidate must pass the Nursing Assistant Competency Exam (NACE), which is controlled by Prometric.  The exam has two sections, a knowledge section, and a practical skills section.  The knowledge section can be taken in either audio or written formats.  Users may retake the exam up to three times in order to pass it.   Those who complete an approved training program may submit their application to Prometric. Upon passing the Arkansas CNA exam, you are added to the Arkansas Nurse Aide Registry. Nurse aide certificates must be renewed every two years in even-numbered years regardless of when the certificate was issued.
