It is required that those seeking to become a CNA in Arkansas completed a CNA program and obtain a passing score on the state-administered CNA exam. In Arkansas, a minimum of 90 hours of CNA classes must be completed at an accredited program for new candidates. There are other options for nursing assistants who completed CNA programs out of state, as well as those that have studied student nursing programs.
