How do I get a CNA license number?

The first step to getting a CNA license number is to complete an approved nurse aide training program. Once you have completed the training, you must then pass a competency evaluation consisting of a written/oral exam and a skills test. After passing the evaluation, you will be registered with the Tennessee Nurse Aide Registry and will be issued a license number.
