Nebraska State Requirements for CNAs

To be eligible to take the CNA exam in Nebraska, candidates must complete a minimum of 75 hours of training at an approved program by the state of Nebraska. Candidates must also complete a one-hour training course on abuse/neglect/misappropriation training.  Those that are trying to be placed on the CNA registry may also apply without taking the exam if they following a set of criteria and requirements.  Categories of these candidates include nursing students, those trained in a foreign country, or those with an inactive or lapsed RN status.
